Closing my eyes I remembered the wind howling around my appartment in Holland, the fall rain, burning gasheater, hot chocolate, sitting on the sofa with the cat on my lap and a good book in my hand; trying to get warm.
"I must put on warm clothes." I said to myself as I prepared for breakfast. Layer upon layer I put on.
And then I went upstairs.. still quiet in the house. Opened the door to the garden. The wind was strong. The leaves on the huge trees at either side of the house were roughly played with. Curiously I stepped down the stairs to the lawn and walked towards the drive way. A very strong wind came from around the corner and instantly surprised me.........
This was not a freezing cold wind, but a strong, very strong heat wave! It scorched me, hit me; trying to push me aside. I wouldn't let it. Oh my... this was not the Arctic wind; this was the wind from the Desert, bringing the dust from the sandplanes from down south Saudi Arabia. It was hot and strong and made me turn around, going back to my room to find one of my thin sleeveless summer dresses; putting flip flops on my feet. Hush, telling no body about it.
When the wind peaks up and it sings around Sabra House, I smile away the memories of the cozy cold Dutch house and embrace the warm temperatures, but: praying in the Spirit for rain for Israel.
Please pray with me for rain for the Promised Land. Lots of rain as well as latter rain. Thank you very much. Toda rabah!

I can imagine your face when the hot wind hit your skin! What a surprise! It is cool here and we are staying by the fire in the fireplace.
